Intermediate C++ Developer

The Company

L.V. Control is a leader in the design and manufacture of custom control systems for agricultural applications, such as grain handling, feed management and fertilizer blending facilities. Duties

As a member of the software engineering team, the Intermediate C++ Developer will participate in the full software development life cycle.  The successful candidate will contribute to the design, development, maintenance, and testing of our process control and automation software platforms.

Specific tasks include:

  • Work with customers to develop requirements for enhancements and changes to our software platforms.
  • Design, implement, and test new functionality within our software platforms, using industry best practices.
  • Work with our technical support team to provide customer support, including troubleshooting and debugging of our software platforms.

Requirements

The successful candidate will be a graduate from Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline, have 3 to 5 years of work experience, and be proficient in C++. Experience with Embarcadero C++Builder would be an asset. A positive attitude, ability to work both independently or as part of a team, and a serious work ethic are also required.

Hours of Work

8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday, some out of town travel and overtime work may be required
